Follow up of any/all decisions made by youth at any FCA ministry event is an essential component throughout FCA. At the conclusion of Fields of Faith, it is our goal to insure any student making a decision has proper and immediate follow-up. It is the intent of the Lubbock/South Plains Area FCA to attempt to communicate quickly and clearly to insure each student is contacted by a minimum of three people; (1) their coach or huddle sponsor, (2) their youth pastor if they identify one (if not, any youth pastor in the locale), and a video link (since kids rarely read informationa letters anymore) from the local FCA office.
In order to meet these expectations, the Follow-Up/Data Entry Team is vitally important. During the event, this team will be located in the stands to see "how God moves among the youth." as the invitation is given, this team will move to a designated area where power to your laptop is accessible. Team members will be receiving commitment cards concerning decisions students have made during the event. Information gleaned will be entered into an Excel spreadsheet so that it may be distributed to coaches, huddle leaders, and youth ministers the following day.
