Few people know the challenges and rewards of the "coaching life" better than Kellye Sparkman. As the daughter of a retired coach, the wife of a retired coach who is also currently on staff with FCA, and a retired teacher-coach herself, Kellye has empathized with coaching families and believed in the mission of this ministry all her life.

Long before they came on staff, Kellye and David Sparkman volunteered as FCA leaders at camps and campuses all accross Texas for many years. Therefore, after an immeasurably impactful career in education, Kellye retired from Shallowater ISD in 2020 and answered the call to join FCA staff. Kellye serves in a part-time capacity as our Event Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.

Kellye is originally from Pampa, Texas. She graduated from West Texas A&M University as a student-athlete, where she played Tennis. 

Kellye and David are founding members of The Message in Lubbock and have two adult children: Zachary and Maci.
